Facial rejuvenation is a cosmetic treatment (or series of cosmetic treatments), which aims to restore a youthful appearance to the human face. Facial rejuvenation can be achieved through either surgical and/or non-surgical options. Procedures can vary in invasiveness and depth of treatment. Surgical procedures can restore facial symmetry through targeted procedures and facial restructuring and skin alterations. Non-surgical procedures can target specific depths of facial structures and treat localized facial concerns such as wrinkles, skin laxity, hyperpigmentation and scars.
Surgical (invasive) facial rejuvenation procedures can include a brow lift (forehead lift), eye lift (blepharoplasty), facelift (rhytidectomy), chin lift and neck lift. Non-surgical (non-invasive) facial rejuvenation treatments can include chemical peels, neuromodulator (such as botox), dermal fillers, laser resurfacing, photorejuvenation, radiofrequency and Ultrasound.

For aging and sun damaged facial skin that has lost its elasticity, the Georgia Dermatology Center offers minimally-invasive treatments to help you look your best.
Fotofacial™ RF
Looking to reduce the visible signs of sun damage? This unique combination of intense pulsed light and radiofrequency energies is a gentle yet effective treatment for age spots, brown pigmentation, spider veins, and also the redness of rosacea. Georgia Dermatology Center recommends a series of treatments 4-6 weeks apart, then 3 treatments per year for maintenance. FotoFacial provides superior results for all skin types and requires no down time.
Refirme™
ReFirme™ uses revolutionary ELOS technology to comfortably achieve skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, and facial contouring with no down time. Treatments stimulate collagen production, tightening skin and smoothing away fine lines and wrinkles. Most patients will notice results after just one treatment, however cumulative improvement occurs with a treatment series. For best results, Georgia Dermatology Center recommends 5 treatments performed 4 weeks apart, followed by 3 treatments a year for maintenance.
Matrix IR™
The Matrix IR™ treatment uses a combination of light and radiofrequency to create the deep thermal heating needed to both shrink and generate new collagen while protecting the top layer of skin. This creates a unique energy profile that is optimal for gentle yet effective wrinkle treatment. Fractional tissue-sparing promotes quicker healing and minimizes downtime. Matrix IR is great for fine lines and wrinkles, especially “smoker’s lines.”
Triniti™
Not sure which treatment to choose from? Now you can reduce visible signs of sun damage, contour the face, and improve wrinkles, texture and tone with one treatment. Triniti™ combines the Fotofacial, Refirme, and eMatrix treatments for maximal rejuvenation with minimal recuperation.
Micro Laser Peel™
The Sciton Erbium Laser provides the latest in skin rejuvenation. Short pulses of laser energy gently ablate the outer layers of the skin at precise depths to eliminate unwanted pigmentation and fine lines. Deeper treatments improve acne scars and deeper wrinkles.
Profractional™ & Profractional-XC™
Profractional treatments dramatically improve the overall appearance of your skin including tone, texture, acne scars, and wrinkles. The laser rejuvenates skin with minimal downtime by creating thousands of pinpoint channels that stimulate new collagen formation, leading to a tighter and smoother appearance.

I am going to do a series of skin needling treatments, along with my facial acupuncture treatments, to help heal my acne scarring. I hope you enjoy this video!
I had my microneedling done by Julie Shillabeer R.Ac, at Babor Beauty Spa In Vancouver, BC. She is also my acupuncturist and is amazing! https://acucarevancouver.ca

When you mean sensitive skin , means they are more prone for allergies , they are prone for irritation, they are prone for burning sensation on the face, whatever they are used, so be careful. So sensitive skin people should be very careful in the cosmetics that they use. Always stick to a mild soap, preferably to use a cleansing lotion and not something that lathers and second thing is a good perfume free and color free and fragrance free moisturize. On top of it I prefer that they use a good sunscreen along with the moisturize and night probably a hydrating gel or a Vitamin C serum to be applied to prevent any allergies and be very careful with the cosmetics that you use. What is Korean Glass Skin?
Glass skin describes a complexion that is glowing, translucent, smooth and poreless – just like glass! Essentially, glass skin also refers to a complexion that is youthful, supple and plump simply because the skin is well hydrated.
Most of us don’t wake up one day with glass skin. All it requires is a little effort and discipline to follow a simple skincare routine.
Check out these 5 tips on how to achieve your dreamily gorgeous complexion.
Tip 1: Make Medical Facials Your Monthly Face Care Routine
Your pampering mask and homecare routine is important, but nothing can replace what medical facials can achieve. Medical facials such as microdermabrasion and LED Phototherapy can address your skincare problems.
If you’re unsure what microdermabrasion is, then SilkPeel may ring a bell.
SilkPeel is a new format of microdermabrasion that suctions away dead cells while infusing the skin with a customized solution. Using a gentle vacuum with a diamond-tip, the outer layer of the skin is gently exfoliated. This helps to open up the pores and primes the skin to effectively absorb the solution that is applied next. Moreover, microdermabrasion can be customized to treat acne-prone skin, pigmentation, dull skin and dry skin.
Post-treatment, SilkPeel leaves your skin feeling radiant, glowing and luminous. Your skin tone will become progressively more even too.
If the thought of suction of your face puts you off, then LED phototherapy is one of the more “passive” medical facials that can help you achieve Korean glass skin.
LED phototherapy uses non-thermal light energy to trigger the body to repair the skin. LED phototherapy helps to accelerate skin rejuvenation, reduce inflammation, acne, rosacea, and eczema.
After treatment, skin looks more even and your complexion will look brighter. And all that’s needed is 15 minutes of your time to achieve these results.
Tip 2: Lasers for Luminous Skin
Laser treatments are a good option should you desire more dramatic results. Using thermal energy, lasers such as the ND YAG, copper bromide laser and picosecond laser create microscopic damage to the skin to encourage collagen remodeling.
The carbon laser peel treatment is effective in shrinking enlarged pores, the bane of oily skin. Sometimes referred to as the red carpet treatment, the practitioner starts off by applying a thin layer of medical-grade carbon on the skin. The laser is then used to blast off the carbon, instantly vaporizing it.
This removes the debris lodged in the pores, thus assisting to reduce the pore size and even out skin tone.
In the hands of an experienced practitioner, lasers can remove fine lines, pigmentation and shave off years from one’s age without incurring any downtime.
While there are several aesthetic modalities to achieve Korean glass skin, what’s most important is a proper diagnosis of your skin condition. This is because the right diagnosis will ensure that a suitable treatment plan is administered. This will help you achieve your beauty goals safely.
Tip 3: Slough and Exfoliate
If you want to have clear skin, exfoliating your skin regularly is important.
As we age, cell regeneration slows down. Old skin cells tend to pile up easily, leaving skin looking dull and rough. The build-up of dead skin cells causes the skin to produce excess oil, clogging pores and eventually causing acne.
Exfoliation helps to remove dead skin cells on the surface. It can be performed mechanically via microdermabrasion, or at home using facial scrubs.
So if you want to have Korean glass skin, make it a habit to scrub your skin once a week. Do note that over-exfoliation can irritate your skin. To avoid this, read the instructions on the product label ingredients and abide to the recommended usage guideline.
In addition, you can add microdermabrasion as part of your monthly facial routine to maintain a glowing complexion.
Tip 4: Get Enough Shut-Eye
Have you noticed how effortlessly radiant you look after a good night’s sleep? And how haggard you appear when you’re sleep deprived?
Inadequate sleep affects wound healing, collagen growth, and skin texture. Being sleep deprived also intensifies inflammation, causing outbreaks of acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin allergies.
That’s why a good snooze is also known as beauty sleep.
Tip 5: Slather on Sunscreen
All your hard work will go down to waste if you do not protect your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays.
UV rays not only make our skin age prematurely, but it contributes to eye damage, melanoma and skin cancer too.
So before you step out of your house, don’t forget to slather on some sunscreen.
The demand for minimally invasive cosmetic procedures has been on the rise over the last few years. The 2020 Plastic Surgery Statistics Report published by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons found that popular treatments included botulinum toxin, soft tissue filler, laser skin resurfacing, and chemical peels. The survey results are based on a 95% confidence level with a 4.96% margin of error, and all figures are projected.

Skin Rejuvenation Procedure called Radiesse Vector Lifting by Dr Davin Lim.
RADIESSE is a wrinkle filler used to plump the skin. RADIESSE is injected through a small needle and placed under the skin. Immediately, this filler works to add volume under the skin and over time, the benefits of RADIESSE continue by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen. The natural results have been shown to last a year or more in many patients, making the treatment results both immediate and long lasting. In the way I perform the procedure, it last much longer than one year- because unlike other fillers such as Restylane or Juvederm, Radiesse stimulates your own collagen- this can give some patients a mini- face lift. RADIESSE is comprised of Calcium Hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in an aqueous gel carrier.Once injected, it provides immediate volume and correction but continues to work by stimulating the body to produce its own natural collagen.
Over time, the gel is absorbed and the body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres leaving behind only your own natural collagen. It is this extra collagen in key area that gives a liquid face lift.
What other fillers does Dr Davin Lim use?
In the vast majority of times, I use fillers as a way to treat loss volume, and improve skin tone, in addition to treating acne scars. My favoured fillers are made by Allergan, and 90% of the time I use the Juvederm range of fillers, including Juvederm Voluma, Volift, Volbella and Ultra XC. For facial contouring, its Juvederm Voluma and Volift. For under the eyes, treating dark circles and fine work I prefer Juvederm Volbella. Another great product is Belotero, especially for fine work. I do use Restylane, not a great fan as I believe IMO that Juvederm is superior. I also prefer the feel of Juvederm – my own personal preference.
When do I use RADIESSE?
I use RADIESSE to rejuvenate hands, as an on label indication, but off label in the way I performed in this video. This dermal filler replenishes loss volume, but most importantly contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres. This is the key, as it stimulates the body’s immune response to produce collagen in the vector areas I inject. I often mix this with local anaesthetic as a dilution, but also it is more comfortable for the patient.
Thanks for watching this video, I will be performing a whole series of dermal filler injection procedures, using different products including Juvederm, Restylane, Emevel, and Belotero over the next few month. Thanks in advance for subscribing to this channel.
